In fact, while taking courses here, I'd recommend not updating to Xcode 8.3.x until you've completed all current courses here. Once future courses are released and start using 8.3.x, then you may need to upgrade, but for now you will be better off if you are using the same versions of software as the courses. Hi, I've been trying for HOURS to download/install XCode on my new mac mini with OSX Lion.. but it seems completely hopeless.

So I have to download it through the App Store, I clicked on it to start downloading and it appears to start downloading, but it just sits there doing nothing in the launchpad. I can pause/resume but it never makes any progress.. is there a way to start fresh? I've just got my mac.. and I'm hating it, all I want to do is install a simple piece of software! So I haven't even got up to the installation part, which I've seen loads of people have been having issues with.. so I look forward to that.. if this thing ever downloads.

Someone PLEASE help me :/ I'm going insane.
