How To Download Cockatrice On Mac 10.10

Cockatrice version: 10.10+ MacOS I just learned about Cockatrice and tried to download it on the Mac OS. When I opened it the Cockatrice application was always 'disconnected', even when I tried to connect it, and the Servatrice app didn't work either. However, I'm running OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan and, at the moment, have no way of updating to 10.12. Is there an older version of Cockatrice that is available for download that would still connect with my friend's version if his is the most up to date? Sorry if this question has already been asked & answered.
